The following tool attempts to pull the most current court availability:
Notes on how the tool works:
- The tool opens a new window, and then searches the below courtrooms for dates in Toronto.
- The process can take up to 10 minutes.
- After the first 2-5 minutes it will display the results as it processes the remainder.
- If there are no dates in the next 12 months it will say “No dates found in the next 12 months.” and also output the last month checked.
- It will output the first 3 dates it finds.
- Sometimes it outputs the same date 2 or 3 times when it can’t find other dates. That’s a bug we are working on.
- The courtrooms that are checked are:
- Civil Practice Court – Courtroom A
- Civil Practice Court – Courtroom B
- To Be Spoken To Court (Short Trial Scheduling)
- Long Trial Scheduling Court”
- Civil Case Conference (before a Judge)-Mon, Wed, Fri
- Civil Case Conference (before a Judge)- Tues, Thurs
- Removal of Solicitor Motions (Associate Judge)
- Associate Judges Motions (75 minutes and under) VIRTUAL
- Associate Judges Motions (75 minutes & under) IN PERSON
- Associate Judges Motions (90 Mins – 120 Mins) VIRTUAL
- Associate Judges Motions (90 Mins – 120 Mins) IN PERSON
- Express Court (Short Motions before an Associate Judge)
- Planned improvements
- Right now it just emails me, I want to make it so that anyone can put in their email and then get the output email.
- I’d like to be able to have it ‘keep an eye out’ for dates of a particular type, so you could put in a ‘watch’ for a particular courtroom and get a notification when a date becomes available.
- Obviously it’s very inefficient at the moment, so increasing that or using Calendly API’s would be great.
